It was birthed out of necessity and over time grew into a hobby.  I began decorating cakes while living overseas and needing to create fun cakes for my kids’ birthdays.  One year I received as a gift a beginner’s guide to cake decorating.  After reading and practicing the things found in the book, I quickly realized this was going to be addictive!!

I truly LOVE creating beautiful, edible pieces of art.  The hardest part is usually having to cut into my creations.  As a mother of young children, I found that this became an outlet for my creativity…something I thoroughly enjoy.

At the encouragement of countless friends and family members, I stepped out on this new adventure and started TLC.  I truly love cakes and each and every creation I make is made with tender loving care.  My heart and soul go into it and I love that I get to share this passion with others.
